Welcome to After 3. Registration for the Spring Session is now open
Learning Opportunities Beyond The School Day After 3 is an opportunity for your child to be engaged in unique learning and growing experiences after school and on selected Saturdays. Register your child for a specific class that meets weekly across a session or in Activity Power Hour, where those enrolled have the opportunity to choose their preferred activity for the day like Newman Summer Day Camp. Activities include visual arts, sports, technology, performing arts, camp games, and more. Experienced Staff The staff includes many Newman faculty members and Newman Summer instructors who lead classes, group activities and private music lessons. Counselor support is provided by carefully selected college students, graduate students, and professionals. Flexible Enrollment Available Monday through Friday throughout the school year, 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Register your child by the session (Fall, Winter, Spring) or as a “Drop-In” at an hourly rate any day.

Karate - Intermediate & Beginners’
Open to Newman students only
2013 – 2014 marks the 6th year that Dimitri Papadopoulos will serve as the lead instructor for this very popular After 3 class. Martial arts can be an integral part of youth education by teaching children discipline, self-control and self-defense, while providing them with a rigorous physical education regimen. First-graders enrolling in Intermediate Karate must have participated in at least one session of After 3 Karate in the past. Second through fourth graders may enroll without prior experience. Enrollment in this class also offers the optional purchase of a karate uniform for $25.
Time: 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Day: Wednesday Grades: 1 - 4 Fee: $259 Includes the ability to stay in After 3 from 3:00 until 5:30 p.m. on the day of class.
